In 2003 President/CEO David Miller started a small company Axiom Cues which quickly became one of the industries top selling cues by providing a high quality cue at an affordable price. With limited funds David had to decide how his cues could out-sell his competitors. Without spending an obscene amount on advertising David decided to use the best form, Word of Mouth. By selling the cues for a minimal margin and getting the cues spread around the world he would make up the difference in quantity. Soon everyone was talking about Axiom and how can cues be sold so cheap. David started shipping the cues out of his garage and the pricing worked. The thought concept behind Axiom belonged to his late father Harold Miller former President/CEO of Cobra Cues. Harold was a pioneer in the industry exploding Cobra into the market in the mid 80's. After losing his dad to Brain Cancer David continued the path that his father laid. "My dad had a simple philosophy" 1) make a good quality product at an affordable price 2) build customer relationships that will last a lifetime. 3) do what you say or promise even if it costs you money 4) stay loyal In 2005 Axiom signed pro player Tony Crosby to a contract and Tony has played with an Axiom AX-36 model ever since. Tony is currently ranked 12th and 2nd on the Florida Tour. 2006 Axiom announces that it has begun production on 100% American made Custom Billiard Tables. Axiom has employed the top table designers to design and build the Axiom brand. Axiom Billiard Table Mfg USA Inc is born, and now offers custom tables from 6' thru 9' and 10' snooker models are available as well. With the slowing economy Axiom's goal is too stay small. David says "We don't need to try to compete with the big dogs who are either going out of business, or selling out and moving overseas." "When the smoke clears in our economy we may be the only ones left standing". "My dad's philosophy carries over into the production of the tables and that is why we will be successful".
